Film Investment Consulting Cases


Vantage Entertainment introduced the Billionaire Boys Club to the Chinese film funding company Born & Co.  The latter’s equity investment to the film was then facilitated by Vantage Entertainment

Vantage Entertainment has recently provided M&A financing consulting service to a major Chinese entertainment company.  As its sole representative, Vantage led the negotiation with Virgin Produced. 

Global IP Acquisition Consulting Cases


Vantage Entertainment has been closely working with a growing Chinese digital entertainment company SinceTimes, an interactive game development and publishing company fully invested by Tencent.  Vantage has exclusively represented SinceTimes in negotiation with major Hollywood studios for potential IP acquisition.







Michelle Yang is the President of Vantage Entertainment, one of Hollywood’s leading film financing and production companies serving both the Chinese and the U.S. market. Her recent credit includes executive producer on the upcoming Billionaire Boys Club produced by Cassian Elwes, starring Kevin Spacey. 

As a seasoned producer who has experience both in Chinese industry and Hollywood, Michelle had taken the leadership role in a numerous successful projects.  Prior to Vantage, Michelle worked in the Kylin Picture Beijing Office, where she was in charge of the company’s overseas business, including film financing, co-production project development and international marketing, and supported in films, such as Sweet Heart Chocolate and The King’s Daughter

Born in China, Michelle earned her B.A. at Peking University, and later an M.F.A. in Cinematic Arts, Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California. She also had experiences in TV show production and news reporting at Beijing Television (BTV) and Hunan Television (HTV), two of the premiere satellite stations in Mainland China. 




 Valeria joined Vantage Entertainment in 2016 as Head of China Division. She came to Vantage Entertainment from DMG Entertainment, where she served as a PR specialist at the CEO’s office, and Enlight Pictures, where she worked as a coordinator at the company’s international business division. She was involved in world-wide sales, distribution and marketing of several Chinese blockbuster productions including Lost in Hong KongDevil and Angel, as well as the Chinese distribution of Point Break. Prior to pursuing a career in the film industry, Valeria had extensive experience in public relations. She was with premiere PR agency FleishmanHillard’s Hong Kong office and Cosmopolitan Magazine China Edition, and worked closely with corporations and brands including HuaweiMattelSwatch GroupKering GroupShiseido Group and Dolce & Gabbana

Valeria holds a MA in Strategic Public Relations from the Annenberg School of University of Southern California, and a BA in Italian/Global Communications from Communication University of China.
